Book Name: The Broken Mirror
Author Name: Krishna Baldev Vaid
“Broken Mirror” is another fictional piece of literature. Very few people could have read it. And this story is sober and subtle.
It reveals ethos related to partition times. The story ‘s protagonist is Beero — a West Punjab village boy. He has a gang of friends. They ‘re all essentially very nuts.
And when partition arrives, some critics suggest they become mature individuals. The book includes descriptions of Hindu-Muslim conflict.
Devi, Beero ‘s sister throws the well. Yet the Hindus don’t let Muslim guys get her out. Furthermore, in the novel, one sees horrible incidents of rape and theft as partition nears.
It’s definitely a strong metaphorical book, carefully selecting the title. The broken Mirror has much to say. Hear carefully!
